No. Baby alpaca is naturally lanolin-free and very smooth, so our sweaters are hypoallergenic and comfortable even on sensitive skin.
Is alpaca warmer than wool? +
Yes. Baby alpaca insulates better than sheep’s wool while staying lighter, and it’s as soft as fine cashmere, but more durable.
What is baby alpaca wool? +
Despite its name, baby alpaca doesn’t come from baby animals. It refers to the finest, softest fibers produced by adult alpacas, the highest quality grade of alpaca wool.
